Blender 4.3 Beta Is a HUGE Step Forward

The Blender Foundation recently released Blender 4.3 Beta and it’s jammed packed with new features. Blender 4.3 will remain in beta for a few weeks, with the full release hopefully coming on November 12, 2024.

There are several new features in the Blender 4.3 release, but in the video below we highlight the following new changes:

  • Massive UI/UX improvements, especially around the windowing system
  • Grease Pencil 3.0, new brushes, improved UI/UX, eraser system and support for geometry nodes
  • 3D sculpting improvements, new UI/UX, new brushes and more
  • New centralized library asset system for sculpting, grease pencil, hair and more
  • Experimental Vulkan rendering
  • New BSDF Metallic shader
  • Tons of Geometry Node improvements including the above mentioned Grease Pencil support, For Loops and more
