Cascadeur 2026.1 has just been released. Cascadeur is a powerful animation software available for Windows, Mac and Linux that makes animation incredibly easy while providing a large swath of features. There is a nearly fully functional (export limited) free version of Cascadeur available for download if you wish to check it out yourself.
The 2026.1 has several impressive new features including a completely new renderer, Unreal Live link support, plenty of powerful new animation tools and more.
New features of the Cascadeur 2026.1 release include:
- Switched to new rendering engine (Filament)
- New LiveLink integration with Unreal Engine for seamless real-time animation streaming
- Added Root Motion tool
- Added Collision Penetration Cleaning tool
- Point constraints are taken into account in AutoPhysics and Ragdoll
- Point constraints are working in AutoPosing
- Improved Quadruped AutoPosing
