The EdenSpark game engine, first announced in October 2025, is a new soon to be open sourced game engine by Gaijin Entertainment. Gaijin are the makers or the popular War Thunder game, which is powered by the Dagor game engine (which was also open sourced). The new EdenSpark engine is now available in open beta. EdenSpark aims to be a beginner friendly game engine for creating 2D and 3D titles on both PC as well as Xbox and PS5. The closest peer to the EdenSpark game engine is the S&box engine (which was also recently open sourced).
The EdenSpark engine is built on top of the proven Dagor Engine and uses the Daslang programming language as the primary programming language. In the future, along side the source code release (at least for the PC platform), Gaijin also intend to add AI prompting to the engine. Here is the EdenSpark roadmap:
