Game Developer Conference GDC Showcase On Now

The Game Developer Conference (GDC) showcase is on right now. GDC normally takes place this time of year but Covid has been a disruption, result in an online conference that has been split into two parts. The Game Developer Conference Showcase runs from Today, March 15th thru Friday March 19th and consists of dozens of free online talks. The “main” or primary GDC will occur July 19th-23rd.

The GDC Showcase is described as:

GDC Showcase is a free-to-attend, all-digital event created to provide the GDC community a chance to come together in March safely. This one-of-a-kind event will provide attendees the chance to catch a taste of what to expect from more expansive GDC events to come, along with some of the biggest talks from past GDC events.

GDC Showcase will feature GDC session highlights with live speaker Q&As, interactive panels, forward-looking keynotes and interviews, and insights from some of the top companies in the industry.

A full schedule of events is available here. We will of course be monitoring the conference to see if any major announcements or product releases occur, so stay tuned to GameFromScratch.com for all GDC related news.
