One of the major “missing” features of the Godot Game Engine is a commercial asset store to compete with the likes of the Unity Asset Store or Epic Game’s Fab market. Over the weekend, Emilio Coppola, the executive director of the Godot Foundation just stealth launched the Asset Store with this post on Bluesky:

The store is very early on, containing only a handful of free assets at this point. Ultimately it is intended to be a complete replacement for the existing Asset Library (which will be retired but remain around for backward support) and will be integrated directly inside of the Godot game engine. At this point in time there are only free assets available, although according to the roadmap they intend to role out commercial assets first to a select group of creators then ultimately the wider community.
