It’s time for the second May Epic Games bi-monthly asset giveaway on the Fab marketplace, with 3 free assets from May 19th – June 2nd. Once “purchased” the assets are yours free to keep forever. This giveaway contains 3 Unreal Engine assets as well as 1 Unity asset, but as you can see from the video you can export most Unreal Engine assets to Godot(or Unity) using the guides below.
The May second Fab asset giveaway consists of the following assets:
Tempered Glass – Destructible Glass System
Modular Container Houses – Survival Base Pack
In addition to the Epic Games giveaway there are a few other new free resources of note. First up for Unity developers, the weekly publisher giveaways have returned. This week you can get the Ocean Toolkit for free if you use code GUSTAVOLSSON at checkout. Additionally the Unity 2026 Must Have Asset bundle continues over on the Unity Asset Store.
Additionally the folks over at GameDev.tv are running a game jam and are offering a large number of free assets, although an email registration is required (the download links are sent to your email account). In addition to the free assets, GameDev.tv are running a companion Humble Bundle of assets to go along with the game jam..
