It’s time for the Epic Games bi-monthly asset giveaway on the Fab marketplace, with 3 free assets from May 5th – May 19th. Once “purchased” the assets are yours free to keep forever. This giveaway contains 3 Unreal Engine assets as well as 1 Unity asset, but as you can see from the video you can export most Unreal Engine assets to Godot(or Unity) using the guides below.
The May first Fab asset giveaway consists of the following assets:
Modular Low Poly Factory [Desktop & Mobile]
In addition to the Epic Games giveaway there are a few other new free resources of note. As mentioned in our recent video on Gaussian Splats ( as well as our earlier Godot Gaussian Splat video) there is an excellent resource for Gaussian Splats called Superspl.at. As of last week, you can now download free splats from that site!
Additionally, Kenney of Kenney.nl fame has released an updated version of his Input Prompts asset pack. It contains tons of icons for recreating controllers and now includes icons for Steam Deck, Steam Controller, Quest VR and more.
Finally the popular UModellerX add-on for Unity is now available for free, with no additional sign up required.
