Abode have recently released a rewritten version of the Substance 3D plugin for the Unity game engine. This version enables you to use Substance Designer generated ssbar materials directly inside the Unity game engine. It is freely available on the Unity asset store. You do not need to have Substance Designer or Painter installed to make use of the Unity plugin.
