Unity AI beta has just been launched and is available for all Unity version 6+. This is a completely different version than the tire fire that was Unity Muse. This new iteration of Unity AI brings agentic control of Unity, MCP control, Unity chat and of course a suite of Gen-AI tools to the game engine.
Unity Pro users receive 2000 Unity AI credits a month while Enterprise customers receive 3000. There is a $10 a month plan available with 1000 credits included, as well as a 14 day free trial.

From the Unity Discussions, here is Whats Included in Unity AI Beta:
- Agentic In-Project Assistance:
- Use Unity’s own agentic assistant, tuned specifically for Unity workflows. Unity’s agent gives you unique features like Plan Mode, Skills, or the ability to instantly roll back changes. Details on these features and many more can be found throughout this post.
- Generators can create placeholder materials, sounds, cubemaps, 2D/3D assets, and more.
- AI Gateway:
- Bring your own key for third-party agents directly into Assistant via the AI Gateway.
- MCP Server:
- Use Unity’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server to control the Editor from your IDE or preferred LLM to script and automate editor tasks within your existing workflow.
