Welcome to the Unreal Engine marketplace giveaway for January 2021. The first Tuesday of every month Epic Games release several free assets to game developers on the Unreal Marketplace. The only caveat is you have to “buy” these assets before the next giveaway, with a purchase price of $0. This month there are only 5 assets, there were no additions to the permanently free collection this month.
The January 2021 free Unreal Engine assets are:
- Advanced Puzzle Constructor
- City Subway Tunnel
- Smoke Builder
- Sword and Shield First Person Animation Pack
- Western Desert Town Pack
To purchase the assets, simply log in to your Unreal account, go the the Marketplace, then select Free->Free For the Month. Add each asset to your cart and checkout, then these assets will be yours forever. There are additional details on this months giveway available on the Unreal Engine blog.
