It’s time for the Epic Games bi-monthly asset giveaway, with 3 free assets from Feb 24th – March 10th. Once “purchased” the assets are yours free to keep forever. This month 1 out of 3 of the free assets will work in any game engine, not just Unreal Engine. The Sci-Fi station can also be exported to other game engines, such as Godot as demonstrated in the video. The free assets are:
- Stylized Fantasy Characters
- Modular Sci-Fi Treatment Station Environment
- Mixed Magic – Spell VFX Pack

As mentioned earlier this week, Epic Games have also released the final version of Quixel Mixer which comes with almost 30GB of smart materials and other assets.
In addition to the Fab giveaways, there is also the weekly Unity Asset Store Publisher of the Week where you can get a Missiles & Explosions special effects pack for free using code ASSETMAGEW at checkout.
Finally, there is a new free pack available from KayKit, Fantasy Weapons Bits with 25+ free low poly medieval weapons.
