With all the recent controversy surrounding Unity since their ill advised runtime fees more and more Unity developers are expressing their outrage. Increasingly many of those Unity developers have expressed a desire to move to a different game engine (many of our recommendations are available here). If you use Unity primarily to make mobile or web 2D and 2.5D games you absolutely need to check out the Defold game engine.
